江戸城の築城(皇居)などにも使用され、日本の銘石の一つとされています。
Hon-komatsu stone is a highly valuable and rare stone that is quarried exclusively in Manazuru Town, Kanagawa Prefecture. It has been used in the construction of historical sites, including Edo Castle (now the Imperial Palace), and is regarded as one of Japan’s finest stones.
本小松石の自然な石の形状と石肌を活かし、フォークアートアーティストがワンポイント施したお香立てです。静かに灰が落ちていく様子と和の雰囲気を持つ本小松石が禅の空間を与えてくれます。
It is an incense stand which makes use of the advantage of the natural stone shape and stone surface of Honkomatsu Stone. Honkomatsu Stone is one of the finest stone in Japan. A folk- art artist painted her art on the surface.
As its ash falls quietly and the Japanese-inspired Honkomatsu Stone give the space a Zen and peaceful atmosphere.
